About
We are the oldest standing social fraternity in the country and on the UW-Madison campus. Our original chapter was founded at Union College in New York on March 4th 1827 and the Alpha of Wisconsin was established in 1908. We live in a National Historic Landmark (Harold C. Bradley House) built by Louis Sullivan just four blocks west of Camp Randall, and we pride ourselves on living in and maintaining our beautiful house. We also pride ourselves on both excellent academic commitment (across many majors among active members) and a strong, close-knit group of gentlemen who like to create great memories in our college days. We have many connections with successful alumni among ten active chapters across the nation. We are members of the Interfraternity Council and are involved with Greek Life, campus, Humorology, other philanthropic services, and our residential community. We are happy to give tours to anyone who stops by.
